NL Power sends disconnect notice to the Stephenville Airport

    The utility company says they “understand the importance of electricity service to customers and disconnection is a last resort taken only after all other options to resolve outstanding account issues have been exhausted."

    How long will the lights stay on at the Stephenville airport? In a statement issued by NL Power, it states “ The Stephenville Dymond Airport has been provided notice of disconnection of electricity service, in accordance with the Company’s Schedule of Rates, Rules and Regulations. Newfoundland Power remains available to work with the airport to resolve outstanding account issues required for continuation of service.” The utility company says they “ understand the importance of electricity service to customers and disconnection is a last resort taken only after all other options to resolve outstanding account issues have been exhausted.
