  Up to last year, the Islaview Foundation has raised $700K.

  On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Mayor Linda Chaisson says this includes free swims from 11 a.m. to 1p.m., and 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m, the gym is open free from 10 a.m until 5 p.m., and for one day only half price membership.

  A news release from Agriculture in the Classroom said “Their submission showcased a deep understanding of what it means to be true agriculture and food problem solvers.” 

• No federal funding to hire students at the Corner Brook Baseball Association

  The president of the Corner Brook Baseball Association, Jason Mosher, says their program is run based on these student grants and they have been getting enough for 7 for as long as he can remember.
