The Port of Corner Brook welcomed the Carnival Cruises ship Legend today to the city of Corner Brook with 2124 passengers plus 930 crew. It was the ship’s first visit to the port. Chip Lyness and his wife were onboard and decided to talk a walk around. They ended up in the Bayfm studio for a chat with our very own Terry Boland. Lyness has a 40-year radio career and is from Georgia in the USA. He says the people of Corner Brook are very welcoming, greeting them as soon as they departed the ship and showing them the walking trails. The Legend also stopped in St. Anthony yesterday.
