Government launches an online survey for nurse practitioners and students to help with recruitment

    Health Minister John Hogan  says “Expanded opportunities will help with retention, which will increase access to health care for residents.”

    Government has launched an online survey to gather feedback from nurse practitioners working in the province’s health system. A survey for nurse practitioner students is also being launched and the results will help find recommendations to improve career opportunities. Nurse practitioners and students will be asked questions related to: Improving access to health services, reporting structures, enabling opportunities for nurse practitioners to develop additional competencies and enhancing opportunities for leadership and autonomy. Health Minister John Hogan  says “Expanded opportunities will help with retention, which will increase access to health care for residents.”
