West Coast Cycling has cleared another hurdle on their way to a multi-use trail between Corner Brook and Massey Drive. An undertaking was registered with the Environment Department on Friday (October 11th). The proposal includes the development of 11.5 kilometers of mountain biking and silent-sport trails that would connect to an existing trail network also owned and operated by the proponent. Construction would involve hand tools and mechanized equipment, following the construction standards of the International Mountain Biking Association. The deadline for public comment is November 15th and the Minister’s decision is due by November 25th.
