More concern coming out over World Energy GH2’s plans for the Port au Port Peninsula and Codroy Valley. During an online public forum hosted by Enviro Watch NL, one panelist was Tami Park-Tighe of West Winds First Nation. She says they were shocked to see a map of the company’s plans with all the red dots. Park-Tighe says there’s too much to lose and about 84 percent of the people they’ve spoken to are against the project. She says over 300 rare bird species live in the Codroy Valley which will be impacted by the project.
