In Corner Brook, the retaining wall on Curling Street will be replaced to prevent damage to the road, and the Deep Gulch Brook culvert will also be replaced and will include a new sidewalk and traffic island.
More than $32 million has been announced for 31 projects in 27 communities including Corner Brook. The funding will mean various improvements to roads from Trepassey to Wabush. Federal Minister of Economic Development and ACOA, Long Range Mountains MP Gudie Hutchings, made the announcement on behalf of the federal government.
