West Street is closed to traffic to allow a street festival for some 50 vendors to market their goods. All while the Queen Mary 2 is due to spend the day in port. Glenda Simms is the Supervisor of Tourism with the city and tells Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit some of the highlights, at 10:30am: Robyn Terry- 12:00pm: Daniel Payne - 1:00pm: Jay and the Ole Man, Buskers and Baked Goods will be on site for Corner Brook Regional High Band Fundraiser.

The day will include a Drumming Welcome from the Corner Brook Aboriginal Women’s Association with and a visit from the mummers. Simms says Robbins family Farm will be there with a Petting Zoo, there will be photo booths and face painting, with a Kids Zone hosted by Holidays for Hope.
