Mayor Darren Gardner says the area behind Pasadena Place was chosen as part of the town’s strategic planning and the hope is to build up that area and rejuvenate the old pool within the next year or two.
There’s a new splash pad in Pasadena and it officially opened on Friday. The project is cost shared between the federal and provincial governments with the town’s contribution being about $550,000. Mayor Darren Gardner says the area behind Pasadena Place was chosen as part of the town’s strategic planning and the hope is to build up that area and rejuvenate the old pool within the next year or two. Gardner says Pasadena is the place to be this summer. He says any kind of infrastructure designed to increase activity is good for tourism and economic development.
