St. John’s RNC were called out to a stabbing last night. Police say a male was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries shortly before 7:30. It happened in the area of Topsail Rd and Columbus Dr. RNC say this is not believed to be a random act and there is no concern for public safety.

Two impaired drivers nabbed by police in Corner Brook overnight
A 19 year old man, was pulled over on O’Connell Drive around 10;30 last night and was placed under arrest in connection with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

He is currently evading police, and may be in the Stephenville area and there are reports of him being seen in Port aux Basques.
