Calling it an “impactful report,” NL’s Auditor General tabled an audit on agency nurses contracts health care with government yesterday and it came with a list of 15 recommendations. Hanrahan says the authority has not followed proper process in the procurement of agency nursing services and has failed to ensure value for money. In managing services, she says it lacked the controls to verify that contractual terms were followed and that funds were not paid inappropriately.
