Councillor Pam Keeping says the theme of the Jigs and Wheels festival focuses on all terrain vehicle access in the city.
The city of Corner Brook’s annual Jigs and Wheels ten day festival kicked off on Friday with a show on West Street headlined by Kim Mitchell. During last week’s public meeting, council voted to open all city streets except any portion of the Trans Canada Highway or Lewin Parkway, and a portion of O’Connell Drive from the intersection of Bliss Street to the intersection of Mount Bernard Avenue. Councillor Pam Keeping says the theme of the festival focuses on all terrain vehicle access in the city. She says this will be in effect now until August 3rd.
