Starting today, you’ll be able to buy a bottle of bourbon and other American alcohol products at NLC locations. Government is selling off shelved booze from the United States and donating it all to the Community Food Sharing Association. An immediate $500K donation was made yesterday with the rest to come when all US products have been sold and it’s estimated to be around $1M. Sixty foodbanks province wide will benefit from this move, serving more than 15,400 people, including 4700 children every month. That’s also a 44.1 percent increase from 2019. Alcohol from the United States is going back on the shelves today but buyers should go to nlliquor.com for up-to-date stock information at different outlets.
