One lane of alternating traffic has now re-opened.
Motorists are reminded to obey the directions of emergency crews and drive with caution.
EARLIER: Due to a motor vehicle collision, Route 480, also known as the Burgeo Highway, is closed in both directions (approximately 20 kms north of Burgeo). Updates will be provided.

Driver of a van pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a dump truck on the Burgeo Highway
The driver of a panel van was pronounced dead at the scene and another driver was assessed by medical services and treated for minor injuries.
