    Busy summer in Corner Brook

    On Bayfm, Mayor Linda Chaisson spoke about the 5th annual Jigs and Wheels event coming next weekend with a ten day schedule.

    It’s expected to be a busy couple of months in Corner Brook with events for all ages to enjoy. On Bayfm, Mayor Linda Chaisson spoke about the 5th annual Jigs and Wheels event coming next weekend with a ten day schedule. She says next is “Light up the Bay” at the yacht club on July 29th with music by the Jazz band and a BBQ.

    New this year, Ribfest will be taking place at the Civic Centre July31st-August 2nd and Chaisson says that’s to make room for more food trucks. 

    She says with more than 1600 young athletes coming here for the NL Summer Games in August, the city will be a busy place.
