Agriculture Technician Students of the College of the North Atlantic, Corner Brook Campus celebrated Canadian Agriculture Day today in the school atrium. The students hosted several displays, activities and special events. BayFM was on site and spoke to Agriculture Technician instructor Sharon Wright. She said it is a day to recognize food we produce in Canada and the people who produce it.

The day also included prize giveaways, a selfie booth and a chance to come by and see the animals. Lori Sheppard from Fresh Island Farm on the Go was among the exhibitors which featured Herculas the Goat.

The theme of this year's Canadian Agriculture Day is "RAISE SOME FORKS AND MAKE SOME NOISE"
