NL’s West Coast Largest St. Patrick’s Day Party will take place this weekend at the Corner Brook Civic Centre. Doors open at 7 o'clock tomorrow and the event is headlined by Shanneyganock. It will feature Bud Davidge, Rum Ragged, Roblo’s Rock, and Craig Young. Shanneyganock’s Chris Andrews says it’s a great lineup. He says the band’s name comes from his days in university while he was completing a folklore degree and a shanneyganock is a mischievous mythical creature that only came out at night. Shanneyganock started 31 years ago.
Meanwhile, Bud Davidge is the voice of Simani. He was recently contacted about winning the Order of NL. Davidge was also recently contacted about being awarded the Coronation medal which is a federal award.
