Mayor Jim Parsons says the new owner was working on development but didn’t have the correct permits in place.

After issuing a stop work order, Corner Brook city hall is helping a proponent on Pinegrove Avenue with the construction of a 3-unit apartment building. Mayor Jim Parsons says the new owner was working on development but didn’t have the correct permits in place. He says approval for the third unit is needed and there are property boundary issues but staff is helping get everything straightened out. The issue was brought up during Monday night’s regular council meeting.
