Each year, the City of Corner Brook conducts an annual curbside fall leaf collection which takes place on regular garbage collection days. This year’s fall collection will take place November 6th to the 10th. Kirstin Mercer is a sustainable development officer with the City of Corner Brook. She says there is no limit to the number of bags with leaves and they have to be in clear bags.
Mercer says there are things that won’t be accepted like yard waste, soil and tree branches. Meanwhile, she says 73 percent of Canadians are getting ready to celebrate Halloween.
