College of the North Atlantic scores high in the research category

    The report has also given College of the North Atlantic other significant rankings in the medium-sized colleges category, including ranking first nationwide in Granting Council Research Income Growth, with the college experiencing an increase of more than 1,000 per cent.

    The College of the North Atlantic has been recognized by Research Infosource as one of Canada’s Top 50 Research Colleges in 2024, and in fact placed in the top 10. This report from Research Infosource places College of the North Atlantic at the forefront of applied research through its Office of Applied Research and Innovation and the NL Workforce Innovation Centre. The report has also given College of the North Atlantic other significant rankings in the medium-sized colleges category, including ranking first nationwide in Granting Council Research Income Growth, with the college experiencing an increase of more than 1,000 per cent. As well, the college ranked third in Canada for research income; second in Canada for research income growth; and second in Canada for research intensity.
