The city of Corner Brook is looking for some new employees. Mayor Jim Parsons says the city is no longer a place without jobs to a place without enough staff to fill the jobs. The city’s website contains employment ads for a Supervisor of City Planning, CAD Technician, director of Public Works, Water and Wastewater, supervisor of Municipal Enforcement, a mechanical foreperson and a Recreation Director. Parsons says people should keep an eye on the city’s website for updates.
Meanwhile, the Mayor says upwards of ten thousand people visited the city this past weekend through cruise ship visits.
