Corner Brook city hall looking to recoup $2.7 million in outstanding taxes

    At Monday night’s public meeting, Councillor Pamela Gill says that amount is higher than it was in 2022.

    Corner Brook city hall will be going after $2.7 million in outstanding taxes from 1,060 different properties. At Monday night’s public meeting, Councillor Pamela Gill says that amount is higher than it was in 2022. It’s a requirement to present an annual tax recovery plan to the Department of Municipal and Provincial Affairs.
