Director of Finance and Administration, Robert George says it’s well under the $170,000 that was budgeted.
The Corner Brook Civic Centre is getting a new Zamboni. At this week’s public meeting, council approved just over $145,500 for a Zamboni 526 Ice Resurfacer. Councillor Steve Perchard asked how this cost fares with previous purchases and Director of Finance and Administration, Robert George says it’s well under the $170,000 that was budgeted.
On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit this week, Mayor Linda Chaisson says this piece of equipment is needed now and could not have been put off until another time. The Zamboni is being purchased from Saunders Equipment Ltd. based out of New Brunswick.
