The city has been told that there will be visitors to the property by appointment on approximately two days per week to pick up their baked goods.
The city of Corner Brook has given the green light to a home based bakery on Lear’s Road. At this week’s public meeting, Councillor Bill Griffin says the property is located in a Residential Medium Density Zone meaning a home based business is a “Discretionary Use.” The city has been told that there will be visitors to the property by appointment on approximately two days per week to pick up their baked goods. It is not anticipated that this will create traffic problems in this area and there is sufficient parking on the property to allow for an extra parking space for the home based business.
Griffin says a notice was delivered to the residents in the immediate area but no submissions were received.
