There are leaves still falling in Corner Brook and that’s why the city is opening a fall leaf collection drop off. The annual pickup has ended as leaves were collected earlier this month during regular garbage days. At Monday night’s council meeting, Director of Community, Engineering, Development & Planning, Darren Charters says they looked at options for those who missed the collection and decided to open a drop off point for leaves only. He says security will be on site starting this evening, Friday and Monday starting from 9am to 6pm. Mayor Jim Parsons explains how to find the location.
