Corner Brook Status of Women celebrating 50th anniversary in 2024

    Executive Director Paula Sheppard says last year was a hard year for many people with rising costs in food, gas, and housing.

    The Corner Brook Status of Women are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. Executive Director Paula Sheppard says last year was a hard year for many people with rising costs in food, gas, and housing. She says that also impacts the services offered at the centre. Sheppard says they plan on having celebrations throughout the year and a new project. She says they’re excited about what’s to come this year.
