Employment Centres to hold open house tomorrow for high school students

    There will also be resume writing assistance, interview preparation, as well as career planning and development.

    Employment Centres, including Corner Brook and Stephenville, will open their doors to high school students tomorrow afternoon from 3-5 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to explore the services available to support their career goals. This includes summer jobs, Youth entrepreneurship support, and Information on skilled trades and apprenticeships. There will also be resume writing assistance, interview preparation, as well as career planning and development The event will feature a guided tour, interactive activities, a presentation on available services and complimentary food and drink. High school students are encouraged to attend and learn how the Employment Centres can help them plan for their future. To find an employment centre near you contact 1-800-563-6600.
