Health Minister John Hogan says this expansion is leading to healthier outcomes for stroke patients and reducing the length of hospital stays. Hogan says the procedure is done in Stt. John’s but a collaborative team will get patients there. As of this month, 246 patients flew to St. John’s for same day fly-in/fly-out cardiac catheterization flights.
