Government is looking for proposals to expand wireless coverage throughout the province. Communities have until mid-September to confirm interest in an improved cellular service. Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says connecting communities is vital. Expressions of interest must identify an underserved area, and communities must show how much they can contribute, normally 10 per cent of total project costs. Minister Parsons says once complete, government will issue a Call for Proposals to cellular providers.
