Federation des francophones de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador (FFTNL) celebrates 50 years

    Sarah Stoodley is also the Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs. She says there are about 5000 francophones living in this province

    The Federation des francophones de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador (FFTNL) celebrated 50 years this past weekend in Mainland and Stephenville. Digital Government and Service NL Minister Sarah Stoodley is also the Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs. She brought greetings at a Saturday luncheon at Centre scolaire et Communautaire Sainte-Anne, in Mainland. Stoodley says there are about 5000 francophones living in this province. Stoodley says they talked about the past 50 years and some of the challenges facing francophones.

    Scott Reid, Parliamentary Assistant to the Premier and MHA for St. George’s – Humber, attended the anniversary banquet in Stephenville.
