Media had a chance to talk with organizers at the newly relaunched Western NL Food Hub in Corner Brook. A news conference was held at their location at 17 Herald Avenue this morning. About 80 people attended their grand opening yesterday evening. Josh Smee is the CEO of FoodFirstNL, which has been working for the past 25 years to advance everyone’s right to food. He says the west coast is abundant with the bounty of food being produced and it can be difficult to access locally grown food.
