Parks Day in Canada is celebrated on July 15th.
Parks Day is coming and it means a free day pass this Saturday at all provincial parks. The $10 daily vehicle permit fee will be waived for all day use visitors. Residents and visitors are encouraged to enjoy a picnic, paddle, swim, bike ride, or hike and discover adventure in your own backyard. There are 32 Provincial Parks in the province. Three arrested after Corner Brook stop results in seizure of cocaine and other drugs
Three men were arrested by RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation (JFO) West after a traffic stop near Corner Brook on August 6, 2025 resulted in the seizure of cocaine and illicit prescription medications. They have each been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
