Just a little over 2 weeks left before the Staples Stuff the BackPack event on August 17th. This fundraiser is to help Vine Place Community Centre get kids the tools they need for the school  year ahead. Wendy Norton is the manager of Staples in Corner Brook. She says everyone is invited to visit the parking lot on the 17th. “From 11 am until 2 p.m., we will have a lot of fun stuff going on in the parking lot,” she says. “All money raised and donations received will be transported to Vine Place.” Mike Kierley is with Vine Place. He says this extra help is needed. “There is a lot of stigma around people who are affected by poverty,” he says. “This is just one way to overcome that.” BayFM is a proud sponsor of Staples Stuff the backpack event on August 17th. e will have a lot of fun stuff going on in the parking lot,” she says. “All money raised and donations received will be transported to Vine Place.” Mike Kierley is with Vine Place.
