Organizer Jade Lawrence says the $40,000 they’ve raised have made a big difference helping more schools in the area be able to offer the breakfast program.

This will be the third year for the House of Horrors in Corner Brook. It will take place at 4 Main Street across from the Esso gas station. Organizer Jade Lawrence says the doors will open 7 o’clock each night October 24th, 25th and the 26th. She says visitors who pay the $5 fee are treated to 22 different scenes inside the house and it takes about 15 minutes for the tour. Lawrence says they started the event to support the Kids Eat Smart Foundation, and Animal House matches donations. She says the $40,000 they’ve raised have made a big difference helping more schools in the area be able to offer the breakfast program. Lawrence says each dollar donated is equivalent to the cost of providing breakfast for a child.
