Canada’s Big Backyard BioBlitz takes place starting today (July 28th) and runs until August 4th. It is organized by the Nature Conservancy of Canada for the 5th year in a row. People can get involved while sitting on their deck, strolling through their neighbourhood, spending time on the water or out on a local trail or even walking to get an ice cream. Andrew Holland is the Media Relations Director. He says they’re inviting people of all ages to get outside and photograph experiences as part of a community science project.
