Newfoundland Power has been inducted into Electricity Canada’s 2024 Centre of Excellence. Winning projects were announced in Toronto this week. Newfoundland Power partnered with a solutions provider for a pilot project that used AIevaluated satellite imagery for 500 kilometres of distribution lines, and assessment of future outages caused by vegetation.
