This includes Northern Traverse, Long Range Traverse, Big Lookout, Gros Morne Summit and Ferry Gulch, Western Brook Pond Gorge Day Hike, and Tablelands Off-Trail Hiking.

Backcountry camping and access is now restricted in Gros Morne National Park due to the limited availability of search and rescue resources with the ongoing wildfire situation in the province. This includes Northern Traverse, Long Range Traverse, Big Lookout, Gros Morne Summit and Ferry Gulch, Western Brook Pond Gorge Day Hike, and Tablelands Off-Trail Hiking. Parks Canada campgrounds and day-use areas are still open. These measures are currently in place for one week but will be reviewed at that time to determine if they can be lifted. Parks Canada campgrounds and day-use areas are still open.
