Our Province,” Finance Minister Siobhan Coady delivered the 2024-25 provincial budget yesterday afternoon. Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne says Budget 2024-25 is the largest health care, infrastructure, and programming budget in the province’s history. He says Corner Brook will get 50 affordable housing units. Byrne says this will help end the homelessness issue in the area. Forecasts of economic indicators show Newfoundland and Labrador as having one of the highest rates of economic growth for 2024 among provinces.
