Nominations of candidates for election to the Council for the City of Corner Brook will be received between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. starting on this Thursday, August 28th. City Clerk and Returning Officer Jessica Smith says it’s simple to get your name on the list. She says the nomination process will continue until September 4th and will take place at the Corner Brook Curling Club.
Nominations shall be in writing and state the name and civic address of the candidate and shall be signed by the Proposer and Seconder, both of whom shall be present together with the candidate.
