After several weeks, nurses in the province have voted to accept a collective agreement with government. The Registered Nurses’ Union Newfoundland and Labrador (RNUNL) represents 5,800 members. Highlights of the deal include a 2 percent wage increase each year for the next four years, a one-time bonus payment of $2000, increases to travel allowances, and improvements to shift scheduling.
