Over 80 people attended the first Women in Agriculture NL workshop at Marble Mountain Resort

    Communications Coordinator Sara Power says the “Rooted In Resilience Workshop” was a full day of learning, connection and inspiration to celebrate and support the vital role of women in agriculture.

    Over 80 people registered for Monday’s Women in Agriculture NL first workshop at Marble Mountain Resort in Steady Brook. Communications Coordinator Sara Power says the “Rooted In Resilience Workshop” was a full day of learning, connection and inspiration to celebrate and support the vital role of women in agriculture. The agenda featured practical skills workshops, empowering talks from local women, hands on demonstrations, networking opportunities and more. Power says a lot of women are becoming involved in agriculture whether it be farming, veterinarians, accounting, researchers, etc. Women in Agriculture NL Inc. is a non-profit organization and currently has 40 members.
