Manager Annette George says these events involve combining plants and nature, culture, and mental wellness with people coming together in fellowship around these topics.

The Mental Wellness team at Qalipu First Nations has some upcoming workshops as part of their “Plant Wellness Series.” Manager Annette George says these events involve combining plants and nature, culture, and mental wellness with people coming together in fellowship around these topics. She says these plant workshops are about so much more than just planting and include a lot of talking about core values. George says an upcoming workshop is a four-session program exploring music, mindfulness, and wellness through the traditional block flute led by Jeff Soper who made the flutes.
