The 23-year old man is now facing charges of escaping lawful custody and resisting arrest. Police thank the public for the numerous tips received.

On Sunday at 10:30 a.m. police arrested a 51 year old Maidstone man on Carolina Avenue in Stephenville. He blew nearly twice the legal limit, was on parole, and had an open container of booze in the vehicle.
