RCMP Traffic Services West is dealing with some high speeds on the province’s highways and roadways. Cst Derek Hayden joined Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit to shed some light on speeding. He says police have been clocking some high speeds like 168, 166, 154 in 100km/hr zones and 114 and 132 in a 50 zone. Hayden says drivers need to slow down and pay attention. Fines for speeding in school zones are double that of a regular speeding ticket.
