Cst James Cadigan says safety is always first.

When a high speed police chase threatens public safety, officers will back off to protect people. On Tuesday, RNC arrested two male teenagers and early the next morning, a 45-year-old man jumped out of a vehicle and tried to run away. He was caught and police also found a loaded firearm, ammunition and drugs. Cst James Cadigan says safety is always first.

Police ended up seizing and impounding several vehicles. Cst Cadigan says these vehicles can actually become evidence. RNC also tried to stop a vehicle shortly after 10 pm Tuesday night, but had to give up the pursuit due to safety when the driver was using the opposing lanes. The vehicle was located abandoned in a grassy field.
