Scott Reid attends National Seal Products Day
Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries, Scott Reid, was in Ottawa this week as part of National Seal Products Day. Reid says the NL Craft Council was there with quite a cross section of seal products and food on display. The event was held on Parliament Hill and was dedicated to promoting seal products and the importance of the seal fishery.

UPDATE: Police have recovered a stolen Dodge Caravan from Deer Lake
The stolen vehicle has a Newfoundland and Labrador licence plate # HWN156.
