A group of Shriners out of Topeka, Kansas, are on a cruise ship that is spending some time at a stopover in Corner Brook today. The Arab Shriners will be in port from 9am to 3pm and have 62 people in their group. Keith Goulding is with the Long Range Shrine Club here at home. He says for many in this group, it is their first time in NL. Nobles of the Long Range Shrine Club (Mazol Shriners) are looking forward to welcoming them to our Province and showing them some local hospitality. They will host a moose soup lunch to welcome them to the area at Bennett Masonic Hall on West Street. This will be followed by a screech-in at the Legion.
