Waste must NOT be out prior to the designated week for pickup.
It’s just about here…..the annual Spring Cleanup in Corner Brook will take place for four weeks starting April 20th. This year, appointments have to be made to guarantee curbside pickup by calling city hall at 637-1666 or booking online through cornerbrook.com. Waste must NOT be out prior to the designated week for pickup. It must be in TWO PILES. One for Bulk Waste, one for metals. It can include Metals (Refrigerators, AC units, stoves, hot water tanks, small auto parts, small appliances and other metals).
Pile two should be Bulk Waste things like (sofas, box springs, chairs, lawn furniture).
Demo materials or electronics (tablets, phones, TVs, monitors, lithium-ion batteries) will not be accepted for curbside collection. However, the city will pay for tipping fees at Wild Cove Transfer station from Friday, May 1st to Monday, May 11th. Residents can make as many trips as they like but proof of residency in Corner Brook will be required. Bulk waste, renovation material, old tires, household hazardous waste, and electronics will be accepted this way.
