It’s summer but the start of the school year is starting to stress some parents. The back to school list is long with supplies, clothes, footwear and more. It can be a hard time of the year for many parents finding it tough to keep up with inflation. This year Bayfm is a proud sponsor of the “Stuff the Backpack” event in partnership with Staples and the Vine Place Community centre. It will take place July 17th. Mike Kearley is with Vine Place. He says it’s meant to help low income families. Kearley says they will be looking for backpacks with the typical school supplies stuffed inside. The Staples Stuff the Backpack event takes place July 17th.
