Steady Brook still under a boil water order

    The town submitted four residual water samples to Service NL on December 6th, and two of the samples came back absent for coliforms, but two came back present.

    Water woes continue in the town of Steady Brook. The town submitted four residual water samples to Service NL on December 6th, and two of the samples came back absent for coliforms, but two came back present. This means the town will remain on the boil water order. The Town will continue to test today and will provide a new lot of samples to Service NL. More details regarding the town’s water system will be provided at the public meeting this Thursday.
